Call For Consensus — ends Monday October 23rd at 2:30pm Boston time.

The Working Group has discussed a response to a comment about the “Purpose of Controls” SC (SC: https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/#purpose-of-controls [https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/#purpose-of-controls] Issue: https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/405 [https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/405]). The non-editorial aspect of the change is to change the “or” to “and”. This issue response was surveyed (https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/Oct_17th_agwg/results#xcorrect [https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/Oct_17th_agwg/results#xcorrect]) and the Working Group felt that all comments related to the specific issue were addressed.

The specific changes are detailed in this pull request: https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/pull/406 [https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/pull/406]/

Call minutes: https://www.w3.org/2017/10/19-ag-minutes.html#item04 [https://www.w3.org/2017/10/19-ag-minutes.html#item04]

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this decision, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.
