CFCs are yes/no questions

When we issue a CFC, please do not provide a conditional response.

You can say “+1 but I would prefer Bill’s solution” or “-1 since I cannot live with this since Bill’s solution is the only proposal that doesn’t create havoc” but please, please do not say “+1 if the first sentence says _____ instead.” That is a different CFC.

In addition, please open a separate thread for discussion of other possible changes or related ideas. Evaluating the results of a CFC are much more difficult if we need to wade through discussion instead of responses.
