When responding to Github comments in your email, try to go to the actual issue

There is always a link in your email to "view on Github"

I suggest clicking on that to comment directly into Github. Responding from
your inbox copies a long list of header information and previous comments
into your response and makes the Issue hard to read and unwieldy.
