This is mostly based on discussions with the LVTF, however, it doesn’t matter for the broader point. There is a limit to how large the native interface of a small device can go, which means you need a certain level of vision in order for that device to be useful. E.g. on iOS you can drag the text size slider to the max, but it doesn’t make that much difference to the general interface, maybe 150-200%? NB: Not including magnification which is a different mechanism. There is no point in WCAG requiring more than a device is capable of. However, WCAG can and should require that *content* is capable of being expanded, so that’s what I’m aiming for. Cheers, -Alastair
