Thanks for the input everyone. I’ve put together this wiki page as a place to keep it updated: https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/Animation_caused_by_user_interaction The bit I’m struggling with is a way of saying “animation that is not normally associated with the action”. E.g. A parallax is not normally associated with scrolling. Scrolling is technically an animation, and should not be covered, but other effects that are not scrolling (but triggered by it) should be. How can we say that in an SC? Also, can anyone think of things that might be covered by this that shouldn’t be? That would be a useful thing to run past a subject-matter-expert (i.e. someone with vestibular issues). Not that we shouldn’t discuss it anyway, but that in particular would be good to have thought of first. Cheers, -Alastair
