Hi All, I am a new member of the working group. Josh asked me to tell you a little bit about myself. I have been developing accessible websites, web applications, and online courses since the early 1990s. In 2009, I started exploring and experimenting with best practices of web accessibility for people with cognitive disabilities, particularly intellectual disabilities. I am a program director and a faculty member of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center at UMass Medical School, a research, education and service center for people with intellectual disabilities. I am also a co-founder and a co-organizer of the Boston Accessibility Group, which hosts annual unconferences and monthly meetups about information-technology accessibility. For more information about me and my related work, see http://clearhelper.wordpress.com/about/ I look forward to working with all of you. I am passionate about web accessibility.
