RE: Red text in HTML5 DOC fails Colour Contrast

Your screen shot shows RGB values of 255, 69, 0 which in hexadecimal for
CSS is #ff4500.

If they bring down the green or the red just a touch, they would be
okay:  255, 65, 0 (#ff4100) or 252, 69,0 (#fc4500).
