The Brussels Face to Face is over. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard before hand and at the Face to Face. The Face to Face ran 11 hour days until 8 when the Internet connection ended. But the result is a much improved Guidelines and clearing of many of the issues in the issues list. A listing of all the resolutions from the meeting can be found at. http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/minutes-history.php Ben also tried to show what the edits would all look like if implemented by creating an "editors draft" incorporating them which is at. http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/WD-WCAG20-20050613/ You can also find a link to it on our home page right next to the link to our 'latest working draft'. Ben tried to catch them all but if in doubt the resolutions list should be the latest word. Please note that later resolutions may affect wording from previous resolutions so read all the way to the end. All of the resolutions at the meeting were unanimous consent. As is our custom though, we post the resolutions to the list for comment and then review comments from the maillist and from working group members who could not make the F2F on the following Thursday call where we confirm or revise text and apply it to the draft. There are a few places where the work was done right near the end - or where the topic had not been discussed on the list enough etc. and we did not post a resolution but rather just worked out wording or had a working group at the end propose wording. These items were (or will be shortly) posted to the list and will be straw polled among the full working group to get comments before deciding at the Thursday Telecon. These included - 1.2 SC1 and SC2 - should they be moved to level 2? - 2.3 change wording to refer to standards rather than quantify one - 2.4 L2 SC1 How to handle? Needs fix - didn't figure one out in time. - 4.2 Added baseline provisions. Replaced large UAAG block with material From 4.2 working group. Final guideline all posted for comment. - 2 or 3 level options - Introduction - incorporating past discussions and new fixes. Nest Thursday the working group will review all comments and make final revisions/confirmations. The changes will then be applied to our working draft and it will be released for public comment around the end of the month, first days of July after the Ben has had time to incorporate the changes. Thanks again to everyone. Gregg and John Co-Chairs Talked about items we will be (or have already) sent to list separately for feedback b4 thrus Said all resolutions posted will be confirmed next week etc. Will reconstruct it tomorrow and resend.
