Hello, all, and thanks for continuing to work on this tricky guideline. The attached document includes additional modifications to three of the proposed SC. Specifically, I now: - propose to delte L1 SC2 (acronyms and abbreviations) - propose to change the wording and narrow the focus of L3 SC3 (link text and section titles) and move the SC to level 2; and - propose what I hope is clearer, simpler (more readable...) wording for the proposed L2 SC3 (supplements for difficult text) The modified proposals for L1 SC2 and L3 SC3 grow out of the discussion on last week's call (see the attached document for detail). The changes to the proposed L2 SC3 respond to Yvette's comment (on the list) that the wording is hard to understand and to Roberto Scano's comment (in the straw poll) that he has "doubts" about the references to specific years of schooling (also an issue that came up on the list, especially in posts by Inneke van der Mott). The exact wording I'm proposing and some semblance of rationale appear in the attached document. Thanks so much.
