I pst this because it's relevant to our discussion of baseline and user
agent support.
This new version of JAWS includes support for Unicode and style sheets
(haven't tried it tout yet; will report back).

Subject: [techlunch] JAWS 6.10 Free Update for 6.0 Users Released

Freedom Scientific has released JAWS 6.10 a free update for users of
JAWS 6.0 Internet License Manager or dongle authorization.

Some of the new features include:

* Remote PACMate access from your desktop or laptop computer.

* Unicode support for Windows NT/XP systems only. This will allow you to
access more complex material and languages such as Arabic, Japanese,
Russian, Hebrew, and a number of other languages.

* New options in the Adjust Braille Options dialog.

* The Braille Viewer has returned.

* Control how JAWS uses style sheets in Internet Explorer. With this
option you will be able to access pages as normal, only access top level
formatting that is provided in style sheets on the current website, or
ignore style sheets all together. This feature is especially useful for
hard to navigate pages or forms.

* Define row and column titles in Excel. Using this feature you can
define your own row and column titles in Excel, or if another user has
provided this information you will be able to access it as well. Very
useful for sighted people to provide expanded access to Excel
spreadsheets to JAWS users without the sighted user needing to install
