From the WCAG Techniques telecon of Aug 4, did I have an action item to do an end-to-end analysis for Guideline 3.2? I seem to see on the site http://eramp.com/david/ that one has already been done for 3.2? In terms of possible tests, I started to look at any of Chris Ridpath's tests for 3.2 (I saw 2 listed for 3.2 WCAG2.0 (Level AAA) dated 2004-03-19 ATRC assignment?), started looking at any Bobby tests to see if any could be matched to 3.2, and searched for other accessibility tests that might possibly apply to 3.2.. Before proceeding further with my task, I have some questions re: 3.2 Success Criteria, as to objective definitions of "extreme changes in context" and "manner: that can be "programmatically identified". Can anyone supply unambiguous definitions for those terms? Also, the available tests seem to be HTML-based; are we considering other than HTML in testing? Are we considering a variety of languages (internationalization issues) - since perceived "change in context" may be affected by such issues? What about device-independence issues? Thanks, Tim Boland NIST
