ACK, I support this proposal.

Currently, I cannot determine any problems associated with this method,
apart from one, two user-agents I remember obviously having problems to
'jump' to the field when clicking on the image (?).

I agree and support this proposal, too (I sent a suggestion akin to this
some months ago, but do not remember any result anymore).
