Intellectual impairments covers a very smooth continuum, let us say sponge like. By which it is implied that no single version will be accessible to all. In theory one could have a dial that was turned very slowly, however perhaps for the present it is worth considering the very large numbers that are excluded because of their low literacy. People's motivation is as important as their abilities. Guidelines for motivating would be interesting indeed. Graham wrote: a. You create one piece of content which is created to be accessible to everyone. or b. You create 2 pieces of content, one for people who do not have intellectual impairments and one for those that do. jonathan chetwynd http://www.peepo.com "The first and still the best picture directory on the web" http://www.learningdifficulty.org.uk "Our guide to helping people with a learning difficulty get the most from the web"
