This was alittle rushed, however... see: http://www.signbrowser.org.uk/w3/pgnORsvg.html A case of the emporer's clothes? SVG no doubt offers some benefits, png does not explain them, one file is immensely bigger than the other, and as can be seen at a small scale does not display well. I'd like to see a lot more graphics on the site, then we'd be in a position to advise people, text is not the way.
