I am dying of curiosity about the "final form" of 508 and won't tell anybody if you secretly send me a copy. The original was in part crafted by my pal Bill Gerrey about 15 or so years ago (with the late Joe Traub). He had no expectation that anything useful would ensue and his cynicism in these matters is based on a long life of dealing with agencies, etc. In fact it may even be that the old version is better than what finally came out. The difference is that at least there are now people teaching accessible design to fed webmasters and it may be that hearing officers will be less permissive than the access board. -- Love.
