Fwd: Brian Elton appointed as co-chair of the Accessibility Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG)

Many, many thanks to Brent and Sharron for serving as co-chairs for EOWG. Your contributions improved EOWG as a group and our deliverables.

I'm thankful that Sharron continues to participate in EOWG. And I'm counting on Brent coming back in 2024. We will miss you until then.

Welcome Brian as new co-chair!

Best,
~Shawn (who isn't good with gushy wording ;-)

Dear Chairs,

W3C is pleased to appoint Brian Elton (TPGi) as a new co-chair of the
Accessibility Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG) [1].

Brian replaces Brent Bakken (Pearson) who is stepping down as EOWG
co-chair. Many thanks to Brent for his contributions to EOWG over the
last 8 years. We hope that Brent can return to EOWG in the future.

Sharron Rush (Knowbility) stepped down months ago, after serving as
co-chair for over 9 years. We appreciate that Sharron continues as an
EOWG participant, as she has since 2007.

Brian joins continuing co-chair Kris Anne Kinney (Educational Testing
Service). We welcome Brian to this new role.

This announcement follows section 3.4.1 [2] of the W3C Process Document.
