Ditto, ditto, Andrew and Emmanuelle! I'm so very grateful to all three of you. Brent -- I really appreciate your willingness to take on this leadership role. You are filling some very big shoes. And I just know that you too will do a first-rate job. Sharron -- I'm so grateful I don't have to scribe. But much more than that, I really appreciate your leadership of our team -- not to mention in the a11y world in general. If I could wave a wand and give out awards for a11y leadership, it would be to you and one other person. Of course that other person is you, Shawn. Your leadership has been amazing -- and it will continue to be, I've no doubt. I've had the experience of transitioning from a chair to a team member, and really enjoyed getting to sit back and let others deal with the inevitable headaches of being chair. I hope the same is true for you. With much gratitude, Anna Belle On Thu, Oct 29, 2015 at 2:53 PM, Andrew Arch <andrew.arch@gmail.com> wrote: > I'd like to second Emmanuelle's thoughts: > > Congratulations Brent, good to have you working with the fantastic Sharron > as co-chair. > > Sharron, your efforts as scribe are much appreciated, especially having > done this myself for some time in the past. > > And a heart-felt thanks to Shawn for your efforts over many years leading > the EO efforts. > > My vacation ends in two weeks and I will then be back on deck at midnight > to continue contributing to the work of EO > > Regards, Andrew > > On Thursday, 22 October 2015, Emmanuelle Gutiérrez y Restrepo < > emmanuelle@sidar.org> wrote: > >> I want to congratulate Brent I'm sure will do a fantastic job. >> >> Thank Shawn for your work to date and Sharron for their kindness when >> dealing with such a heavy task. >> >> I also take to excuse my absence, I will try to limit as much as >> possible.
