Thanks Sylvie, Andrew, Vickie for the comments! Yesterday I went through all the comments in the wiki page [1] under "EOWG Comments on..." for Introduction, Page title, alt text, Headings. I added at the beginning of each comment the status, e.g., [done]. There are a few still open. Andrew, please see my replies and reply back. :-) One open question from Vicki for EOWG to think about: I'm mulling over the term "inappropriate alt text". Would that be the correct term? Please skim the context at: <http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/Drafts/eval/checks#images> Then add your comments to the wiki. To find the question, you can search for "open EOWG", which is highlighted in yellow.
