Dear Advisory Committee Representatives and Chairs,

As part of a Headlights 2013 project about the W3C brand [1] we are
conducting a survey of public and Members.  This important research
will guide where we focus our resources and energies to update and
evolve the W3C brand. This is especially relevant as W3C turns 20 in 2014.

Please take a moment to tell us who you think W3C is and should be, by completing this survey:

We estimate it will require about 15-20 minutes.
The deadline for responses is 11:59 p.m. ET, Sunday, 5 May 2013.

This survey also is being shared publicly with others not currently
engaged with W3C, including public survey panels targeting technology
professionals. W3C will also advertise the survey through social media
channels. Please encourage your associates to participate as well.

As a special thank you for answering all the questions, you may opt-in
at the end to enter into a drawing to win an iPad Mini. The winner
will be chosen at random from all those who completed the survey and
entered the drawing.

W3C has retained Salloway & Associates [2], an independent market
strategy and research company, to conduct this survey on a
confidential and professional basis. W3C will receive only anonymized
