We've changed the very beginning, so now this is not redundant.

We discussed it in the telcon and think it's OK given then heading above says "Alternative Text for Images" and the following sentence explains it and there is an image illustrating it. I think the quotes would make it stand out, which I don't think we want.

I tweaked it.

OK. Let's see how it works once we have real images instead of placeholders -- the problem might be because they are text instead of actual images. I think the images in different places works nicely in http://beta.w3.org/standards/webdesign/i18n

I am totally open to changing this if warranted.
