RE: EOWG: changes to Benefits of WCAG 2.0 presentation material

I think Shadi is correct about these being significant benefits that we should mention.

While these benefits have implications, such as harmonization, that go beyond WCAG 2.0, they actually are dealing directly with WCAG 2.0. In other words, WCAG 2.0 is not just a stand alone, isolated standard, but instead relates directly to other standards and areas and forms part of a coherent pattern reflecting a broad, diverse, international perspective of organizations, businesses, cultures, etc.

Hi Shawn, all,

When I present about the *benefits* of WCAG 2.0, I usually mention that
it is part of a suite with ATAG and UAAG. I think this is often a very
important argument to make the case for adopting WCAG 2.0.

Also, the opportunity for having authorized translations is one of the
benefits for adopting WCAG 2.0 rather than investing that same amount of
effort in developing a different set of guidelines.

Having said that, I'm not sure if these items are a scope-creep as they
relate more to harmonization that to the technical benefits of WCAG 2.0
itself. Any thoughts on putting some of this in the slides?

Regards,
   Shadi
