WCAG 2.0 presentation - colour and other good practices

As requested by Shawn and EO at the Teleconference of 10th August, Henny and I volunteered to "Research background colors and other best practices for presentations."

Attached is an attempt at this (much already incorporated by Shawn now). I'm interested in any reactions to the suggestions.
