EOWG: We got a question back from the WCAG WG already about one of our new comments that we sent over to them on 29 June. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-comments-wcag20/2007Jun/0408.html We had said: >21. [SC 3.1.4] We debated this but could not agree on a common >interpretation. Please clarify. And they'd asked: >Could you let us know what it was that you were debating about SC 3.1.4 >for which you couldn't agree on a common interpretation? And I'd replied: >Well basically we didn't know what "a mechanism for finding" meant in "A >mechanism for finding the expanded form or meaning of abbreviations is >available," and we each came up w/ different theories -- however, looking >at "How to meet", this is explained, and apparently many different >mechanisms are possible. So I've had some back & forth with them already, and I believe that our question may be addressed by what's in the "how to meet" guidance. But I'd like to briefly re-check our original intent with you in our upcoming teleconference this week.
