Hi Judy, Too early for any outcomes form Standards Australia - I'll post to EOWG when there is something concrete. The Committee idea arose so that Australia could formally participate in things like ISO/IEC JTC1 SWG-A. Other recent/current activity that someone from Europe might be able to report on are two CEN workshops: CEN Workshop on Web Accessibility Certification" (CEN/ISSS WS/ WAC): www.cen.eu/cenorm/businessdomains/businessdomains/isss/activity/ws-wac.a sp & http://comelec.afnor.fr/cen/wswac CEN/ISSS Workshop on Document Processing for Accessibility (DPA): www.cen.eu/cenorm/businessdomains/businessdomains/isss/activity/ws-dpa.a sp Usability Net also has a good list of International standards for HCI and usability: http://www.usabilitynet.org/tools/r_international.htm Regards, Andrew ______________________ Dr Andrew Arch Manager Online Accessibility Consulting Vision Australia - Accessible Information Solutions Ph. +61 (0)3 9864 9282; Mob: 0438 755 565 http://www.visionaustralia.org.au/ais/ -----Original Message----- From: Judy Brewer [mailto:jbrewer@w3.org] Sent: Friday, 2 March 2007 5:11 PM To: Andrew Arch; EOWG Subject: RE: EOWG: Agenda for 2 March 2007 Teleconference Andrew, Are there any links that you could share with the list about this? This is just the kind of information that I was hoping people might be interested to share, and I'm sure that people would be interested to hear &/or read more about this.
