Hi group, Last week I had two interesting occasions to talk about web accessibility: 1 - A one day course about the new accessibility law in Italy, at the Modena University 2 - A seminary about web sites of italian National Parks http://www.parks.it (very inaccessible web sites, but many good intentions for the future, and that's a good starting point). In both cases, I felt that something is starting and moving here in Italy; maybe the new law is gaining some visibility and some kind of curiosity is growing into the Italian Public Administration and its managers, maybe more and more people are starting to think to the internet as a media completely different from television and magazines, the fact is that in some cases people, managers and developers speak about web accessibility much more than yesterday. Our efforts are giving encouraging results :) My best regards, Roberto Castaldo ----------------------------------- www.Webaccessibile.Org coordinator IWA/HWG Member rcastaldo@webaccessibile.org r.castaldo@iol.it Icq 178709294 ------------------------------------
