W3C is experiencing slow connections to IRC from IPv6. Details below for those experiencing the problem. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: IPv6 connectivity issues for W3C CVS and IRC Resent-Date: Fri, 01 Mar 2013 14:05:33 +0000 Resent-From: system-notices@w3.org Date: Fri, 01 Mar 2013 09:05:23 -0500 W3C systems at MIT have lost their IPv6 connectivity. Because of this, people on IPv6-capable networks that try to contact our CVS or IRC servers may experience slow connections. You may be able to work around the issue by expressly requesting a connection over IPv4 in your client software. We are working with network administrators at MIT to resolve this issue. We will post updates on this issue as they become available at <http://www.w3.org/2003/08/system-status>.
