New ATAG 2.0 Editor's Draft

Hi,

A new Editor's draft of ATAG 2.0 is up with some new proposed changes 
that need discussion:

New proposed changes:

1. New WCAG 2.0 style labels
2. "Follow the accessibility conventions of the platform" moved to A.1
3. "Keyboard accessibility features of the platform (e.g., StickyKeys, 
SlowKeys, browser link navigation) must not be interfered with" moved 
from A.3.1 to A.1.3.
4. A.2.4 and A.2.5 added
5. A.3.4,5,6,9,10,11 added to synch with WCAG
6. Order of A.2.3 and A.2.4 flipped to synch with WCAG
7. A.3.1.7 folded into A.3.1.6
8. A.3.1.8 moved to A.3.7 to make new AA SC.
9. Musing about removing A.3.2
10. A.3.4 New SC's
11. New A.4.1
12. A.4.2 New SCs
13. B.1.1 "A" requirements broken into A AA AAA
14. A few new terms:
-information that is conveyed by color differences
-platform, available via
-template selection mechanism


Previously proposed changes still needing discussion:

1. Wording of intro and general re-wording of rationales.
2. B.1.4 moved to B.2.5 and merged with the Templates requirements we
added at the F2F
3. B.3.3 and B.3.4 merged
4. VERY basic disclaimer wording. TB: you had suggested this. What
else does it need?
5. Glossary tightened up - some terms inherit new WCAG 2.0 wording -
several new terms
6. Moved examples of authoring tools down into "Editing view" definition.
7. Guideline A.2.4 [For the authoring tool user interface] Ensure access
to functionality and presentation
8. Guideline A.3.4 [For the authoring tool user interface] Ensure
authors can avoid flashing that could cause seizures
9. Guideline B.1.3 Ensure automatically generated content is accessible.

10. Guideline B.2.1 Prompt authors to create accessible content.
11. B.2.2.7 The accessibility status of content must be saved to
facilitate interoperability between checking and repair tools.
