Here's the revised proposal for A.2.8 (based on Tim's comments and my replies): [1] New success criteria for other checkpoints: A.1.3 SC3. Any visual or audio display settings must be saved between authoring sessions. A.2.1 SC5: Any keyboard operability settings must be saved between authoring sessions. [2] A.2.8 For the authoring tool user interface, allow the author to have multiple sets of keyboard operability and display preferences settings. [Priority 2] Rationale: Providing the ability to save and reload sets of keyboard and display preference settings is a benefit to authors using tools intended to be used by multiple authors as well as authors who have keyboard and display preference settings preferences that differ with fatigue, etc. Success Criteria: SC1: The author must be able to save and reload sets of preferences (e.g. personal profiles, personal settings, etc.), where each set contains preference settings related to the following (if present): - (a) keyboard operability, - (b) visual display (if the visual display (fonts, sizes, colors, spacing, positioning, etc.) is controlled by the authoring tool rather than by the *platform*), and - (c) audio display (if the audio display (volume, speech voices, etc.) is controlled by the authoring tool rather than by the *platform*) [3] Remove term "Configurability" since it is no longer used. Cheers, Jan
