Hi Tim, Taking a look at the relative success criteria... B.1.2 Ensure that when the tool automatically generates content it conforms to WCAG. B.1.3 Ensure that all pre-authored content for the tool conforms to WCAG B.2.1 Prompt and assist the author to create content that conforms to WCAG. B.2.2 Check for and inform the author of accessibility problems. B.2.3 Assist authors in repairing accessibility problems. ....they are not ironclad (if we had wanted that, we could have had one checkpoint, along the lines of: "Under all circumstances, all output must meet WCAG".) B.1.2: applies to the tool only. If the tool allows the author to create content by hand, eg in a code view then this does not apply. B.1.3: applies to the tool only. If the tool allows the authors to bring in their own pre-authored content, this does not apply. B.2.1: this requires the tool to offer guidance and support, but the author can ignore it. B.2.2,B.2.3: Once again, these require the tool to offer various forms of support, but the author can ignore this as well. To make this more clear, we might want to change the text in "Relative Priority Checkpoints" under 2.1.2 to be more clear that the WCAG conformance level applies to the functionality and not to the final output.
