Hi, regrets.
For wcag 2.0 comments, i've sent some weeks ago a note about code conformance (asking to put it as level 1 for eliminate "tag soup".
Atag should put that editor - if an user declare a DTD - validate contents against declared DTD, helping user to fix errors.
