An updated draft of my work on a "test suite" for ATAG2.0 (called "Version 1.0") may be found at: http://xsun.sdct.itl.nist.gov/~boland/ATAG20testsuite.htm This draft is based upon: ATAG2.0 WD dated November 19, 2004 WCAG2.0 WD dated November 22, 2004 ISO16071:2002(E) This draft attempts to implement the test plan (from 02 Sep 2004) listed as: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-au/2004JanMar/0000.html ,supersedes the previous test files sent as: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-au/2004JulSep/0125.html , and is meant to stimulate discussion (for example, at the upcoming Authoring Tools Working Group face-to-face meeting). I have attempted to incorporate current testing approaches in ATAG, WCAG, and QA testing into this draft, and to incorporate comments on previous work in this area. This draft consists of a main page, developer and author (tester) templates for each ATAG2.0 success criterion, and a test report site (no developer or tester entries yet). Currently, the draft components are "static" HTML; however, with approval, I can make this draft interactive. I have also at least attempted to consider accessibility issues in design of these components. In doing this work, I think the following issues (at least) are open to discussion: (1) level of detail of questions on templates? (2) use/influence of ATAG2.0 techniques in test suite? (3) use of WCAG2.0 tests by "reference" or by "value"? (4) inclusion of questions in multiple templates (relative priority issue)? (5) relationship of an ATAG2.0 test suite to ATAG2.0 conformance/guidelines? Comments welcome Thanks and best wishes Tim Boland NIST
