Dear W3C, After serious deliberation and after including comments from all stakeholders (as listed in our previous email), we are able to go forward with the Authorized Translation of WCAG 2.1 into German. The discussions can be reviewed on GitHub https://github.com/outline-rocks/wcag/discussions. We invite further comments there or at the public-auth-trans-de@w3.org mailing list. In a deliberate choice to limit the scope and the confusion, we decided to not touch WCAG 2.0 content, unless there were changes in the English WCAG 2.1. While we got some comments to change some wording text that originated in WCAG 2.0, we did not see any consensus to go back and actually make these changes.
