Review of the translation of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) On November 2 the public review of the Candidate Authorized Dutch/Flemish Translation of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) <http://www.w3c.nl/Vertalingen/WCAG20/> has started. Led by the Stichting Accessibility 26 organisations have participated in this translation. Now they urge the public to check this translation on validity. As of november 2 a review period started that may lead to modification of the candidate authorized translation. The final authorized translation may be ready for use in december 2009. Everyone can participate the review. Remarks can be made on the correctness of the translation only, not on the guidelines themselve that form the content of the document. The candidate authorized translation serves for review only and cannot be used as recommendation. The procedure will adhere to the official procedure for authorized translations <http://www.w3.org/2005/02/TranslationPolicy.html> issued by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). On public-auth-trans-nl@w3.org <mailto:public-auth-trans-nl@w3.org> reviewers can make their remarks on the translation.
