Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Spanish authorized translation

On behalf of the ONCE Foundation [1] and Inredis Consortium [2],
Technosite is pleased to inform W3C of its intention to serve as LTO for
producing the authorized translation of WCAG 2.0 in Spanish. We are
working on establishing the group of stakeholders including W3C Spanish
Office. We will inform W3C as soon as the stakeholders have accepted the
invitation.

The INREDIS project is part of the Spanish government's INGENIO 2010
initiative managed by CDTI (Industrial Technology Development Centre).
INREDIS is carrying out basic research in the field of accessible
interoperable technologies over the period 2007-2010. ONCE Foundation is
a W3C member and past sponsor of the Web Accessibility Initiative. Its
subsidiary Technosite produced the definitive Spanish translation of
WCAG 1.0 [3] and of the Unified Web Evaluation Methodology 1.0 [4].
