Dear Sirs, At the Faculty of Library and information Science in Universitat de Barcelona we are working in the translation of WCAG 2.0 to Catalan. Our planned calendar is to offer ourselves as LTO at the beginning of March with support of many accessibility and HCI organizations in Catalonia, and with a candidate translation. And start the official translation verification process immediately. In the meantime we have some doubts: - Can we introduce local examples in Catalan of some of the issues ? We think that explaining abbreviations or idioms with local examples will help to understand the guidelines for local webmasters. In the case you accept this, how do we have to indicate this? - Can we introduce a paragraph with collaborators to the Catalan translation additionally to the list of coordinations ? Many people is working in the translation and we think each of them deserves mention in the final document. Looking forward to hearing from you, Mireia Ribera Departament de Bibliotecomia i Documentació - Universitat de Barcelona http://bd.ub.es/pub/ribera
