Hello Jens, Please see the instructions for translating Internationalization Activity pages at http://www.w3.org/International/2004/06/translation I have no objection to you going ahead, if you follow those, but I would ask you to first provide German translations for the text at http://www.w3.org/International/2004/06/translation-text since this will be our first German translation. Note that we prefer to publish translations of these articles on the W3C site, so that we can do language based content negotiation. Best regards, Richard. ============ Richard Ishida Internationalization Lead W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) http://www.w3.org/People/Ishida/ http://www.w3.org/International/ http://people.w3.org/rishida/blog/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/ishida/ > -----Original Message----- > From: w3c-translators-request@w3.org > [mailto:w3c-translators-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of Jens Meiert > Sent: 10 February 2006 22:01 > To: w3c-translators@w3.org > Cc: ishida@w3.org > Subject: German Translation Announcement: "Localization vs. > Internationalization" > > > Dear W3C, translators, > > > I'll soon start to translate "Localization vs. > Internationalization" [1] into German, as long as there are > no objections against it.
