What of the case where the link is means as information for hte applications which is only indirectly related to the display of the information? For example consider a link to a style-sheet. What catagory does it fall under? What of a link which refers to resource SGML Datafile which the application needs... For example a document which is really a script may refer to an API Spec (done in SGML) which defines how to map it's scripting functions to the application's architecture (or an external architecture). I am not sure I understand what the difference between REPLACE and NEW is meant to be. Replace what? If it is replace the current resource, how is that different from a new context? (Note: This may be a confusion on my part as I was to busy to keep up with all of the XML mailing lists mail through much of January and into February.... If so, could someone explain it to me off-line?) -derek -------------------------------------------------------------- ddb@criinc.com || software-engineer || www/sgml/java/perl/etc.
