The mailing list w3c-sgml-wg@w3.org is working again, but we may have lost a lot of mail. Someone removed /etc/mail/aliases from W3C's mailing list server. The support guy tells me that all the mail that bounced in the meantime should automatically get sent again. Problem is, none of the messages I sent while the list was down actually bounced, they just disappeared into the void. The last message in the thread index is Michael Sperberg-McQueen's posting "Re: A8: INCLUDE/IGNORE marked sections?" dated Friday, 1996.10.04 at 15:38:37 CDT. If you sent a message between then and approximately 1 p.m. California time on Sunday, 1996.10.06, and you don't see it appear on the list by 5 p.m. California time on Sunday, 1996.10.06, please repost it to the list. To help avoid confusion, it would probably be best to put "(Resend)" at the beginning of your subject line in case the original lost messages perversely come to life after you have reposted them. Please contact me directly if a message you post to the list doesn't show up within an hour or so. Jon
