We're working on it! I highly suspect we will implement in client and server because we do support anonymous access and it's nice for clients to be able to decide to go from that to authenticated access. While I'm on the topic: our WebDAV client library in progress is intended to be high-level and more application-oriented than the standard libraries that come with Python.
