http://ietf.cse.ucsc.edu:8080/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=51 Summary: Property behaviour upon COPY vs "remote COPY" Product: WebDAV-RFC 2518-bis Version: -06 Platform: Other URL: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-dist- auth/2004JulSep/0154.html OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: 14. DAV Properties AssignedTo: joe-bugzilla@cursive.net ReportedBy: julian.reschke@greenbytes.de CC: w3c-dist-auth@w3.org This somehow combines statements about how the property behaves upon COPY and MOVE and some statements about what happens in "remote" operations. I think the latter is very confusing. Either a copy is done using COPY, or it isn't. If a server decides to emulate a copy operation using PROPPATCH and PUT, the standard considerations for these methods apply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
