The thinking is apparently "one step at a time", since iDNR *won't work*
without proper implementation in URI context.  However, as Tripp mentioned,
there's much, much more to iDNR *as an alternative to the entire DNS
specification* than naming conventions, including the implementation of a
querying protocol and database support, etc.  LDAP may be an ideal approach
for iDNR, but it is too specific for the LDAP discussion group as Tripp also
said.

One step at a time--no problems here with moving it to the URI list.  I
apologize for the additional post, but I thought it best to acknowledge the
suggestion since I started the thread.
