Thanks for picking this up, Larry! My additional comment: I don't like to have too many URL schemes. If we're talking about phones, there are really 2 things: What we dial, and what we do when we get there. If "what we do when we get there" is the URL type, we've got fax: urls, voice: urls and modem: urls - there are probably more. We might want to do this once, and say something like: phone://+47-73-597094/proto=voice phone:+47-73-596450/proto=g3fax or phone:+47-73-5149456,263/proto=voice (basically emulate the Hayes special dial character set, unless they have a patent on it) Just my NOK 0.50...
