I finished all of my changes to the general URL syntax draft on Sunday.

One important thing to note is that I have changed the BNF definition
of path to include the first "/".  See the last appendix for the reasons
why I changed it.  This will probably require changes to the individual
scheme specifications as well, but it will make them easier to specify.
More importantly, it now matches the actual implementations and RFC 1630,
so there will probably be fewer problems with translating the spec into
Larry is now editor.  I suggest that both draft 01 and draft 02 be
submitted to the internet-drafts after the meeting, since that will
preserve the version number.   Many people have already seen draft 01,
so I don't want that reused even though it isn't in the repository.
Have fun at the meeting (I'll be flying to Australia and will be
mostly off-net until Jan 12).
