Hi there: I hope this message finds you well. My name is Kelsea, and I'm reaching out on behalf of QuCheng <https://www.qucheng.com/index.html>Open Source Community, a non-profit organization based in China. I have read your article W3C HTML 5 Logo FAQ <https://www.w3.org/html/logo/faq.html> carefully and I have noticed that we can use the HTML5 logo on stickers, T-shirts and etc. But the scenario in my company is a little bit different because we want to use your HTML5 logo on opensource events. So, I'm writing to request permission to design some merchandise inspired by your HTML5 logo, like T-shirts, mugs, and mousepads, to give away at opensource conferences and events. This way, we can spread the word about HTML5 and introduce it to more people. Attendees can get these items for free, or buy them to support the opensource community. All sales revenue will be donated back to the opensource community, too. We would be honored if you could grant us permission to use your HTML5 logo/name for these events. Please let us know if there are any restrictions or requirements we need to follow in order to use it. Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to hearing back from you soon. Best regards, Kelsea Zhang
