Thank you so much for your response. But I have since found that w3c-biblio.syronex.com can automatically generate citation in BiBTeX format by just inserting W3C URL in the input box.

I'm sorry if this comes up as spam message but that is what I'v e found on google search and works well for me.

The editors of our specifications are listed at the top of
the documents. In the case of IndexedDB-2, the editors are:
- Ali Alabbas <alia@microsoft.com> from Microsoft Corp
- Joshua Bell <jsbell@google.com> from Google Inc
