[cfp] Call for Papers – WOP 2026 @ ISWC 2026

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Workshop on Ontology Design and Patterns (WOP 2026), accepted as a full-day workshop at ISWC 2026.
WOP provides a forum for researchers and practitioners working on ontology engineering, ontology design patterns, knowledge graphs, semantic technologies, modularity, neuro-symbolic AI, and trustworthy AI.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
• Pattern-based ontology design and knowledge engineering
• Knowledge graph and linked data creation
• Ontology learning, NLP, and Large Language Models
• Ontology evaluation, integration, alignment, and quality assurance
• Semantic applications and reasoning approaches
• LLM-assisted ontology engineering and validation
• Pattern repositories and recommendation systems
• Modular knowledge graphs and contextual reasoning
• Applications in sustainability, climate, IoT, smart agriculture, life sciences, digital humanities, and more
• Ontology design patterns for AI integration and trustworthy AI
Important Dates:
• Workshop paper submissions: July 24, 2026
• Workshop program available online: August 21, 2026
• Workshop dates: October 25–26, 2026
