Based on dozens of recent articles and posts on multiple websites, ranging
from public forum, tech news to public announcements from the tech sectors,
it has become apparent that governance is now seen as an integral part of
the specification layer for among other things artificial intelligence, but
also web browsers.
I would like to know if any concerted efforts exist within the W3
Community Groups to address general standards for governance as formalized
part of the specification layer for web and artificial intelligence
development.
Dozens of CGs already exist, each addressing specific issues of e.g.
artificial intelligence, browsers, etc.
Using governance as an overarching theme we can align the work of a large
number of CGs to focus on a comprehensive set of standards that cover the
conceptual framework and technologies to incorporate governance in
specification layers for web and AI design.
