Survey on metadata for semantics and data mappings

I hope you are doing well,



I am a Ph.D. student at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

In the linked data and semantic web world, mappings are crucial to
overcoming semantics heterogeneity, which is one of the major barriers to
interoperability. Mapping can be defined as the process of specifying how
two semantic or data models relate to each other.

My research focuses on improving metadata and its representation for
semantic/interlink/uplift mappings, as well as reasoning over this mapping
metadata for purposes such as discovery, reuse, and quality assessment of
semantic/interlink/uplift mappings.



I would like to invite you to participate in an initial survey on metadata
for such mappings. This survey aims to gather feedback on a set of proposed
metadata fields that can be used to annotate different types of mappings.



It is expected that your participation in this survey *will not exceed 10
minutes*.



Your participation is completely voluntary, and all of your responses are
anonymous. None of the responses will be connected to identifying
information.
