Apologies for cross-postings. Please send it to interested colleagues and students. Many Thanks! Call For Papers The International Conference on Behavior Engineering (ICBE 2016) ================================================================ University of Macau, Taipa, Macau, December 19-22, 2016 URL: http://www.icbe-conf.org/index.html The International Conference on Behavior Engineering (ICBE) aims to encompass intelligent and efficient computational solutions, including models, architectures, algorithms and specific applications, focused on processing, discovering, understanding and analysing the behaviour captured by the above data. It is a forum for data scientists, behavior engineers and application developers from around the world to interact and present their work. It also offers a stimulating platform for the exchange of ideas and disseminating cutting edge research related to behavior engineering to the community. We are particularly interested in applying any engineering paradigm to systemically process, discover, understand and analyse these data. We are also interested in works that address problems in a variety of areas and applications that related to behavior engineering. ICBE solicits original, unpublished and novel papers for research publication and presentation in research track, and industry/application papers in application track. Articles describing novel ideas and applications in all areas of behavior engineering are of interest, including the following: * New formulations, theories, algorithms and models * Architectures and/or mythologies for behavior processing * HPC and parallel approaches to behavior discovery * User modelling * IoT analysis * Behavior discovery from big data * Behavior analytics for cybersecurity * Customer behaviour analysis * Casual inference * Streaming data analysis * Time series data analysis * Spatial data analysis * Social media analysis * Natural language processing, understanding and analysis * Finance applications * Behavior patterns * Novel applications * User behavior analytics Papers submitted via the Electronic Submission System will be peer reviewed by at least two reviewers. Tentatively all accepted conference papers will be published in the proceedings with Springer in the Communications in Computer and Information Science series (pending) which is abstracted (indexed) by DBLP, EI, Scopus and it is submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings. Extended versions of accepted papers will be invited for submission to Journal of Internet Technology (Indexed by SCI-E) and Scientific Programming (Indexed by SCI-E).
