Creating vocabularies - tools videos, and best practices?

The Social Interest Group is looking into formalizing new vocabularies
for the Social Web.

A few years ago I looked into this and, minus TopBraid Composer (that
cost money!), there was little graphical, web-based, easy-to-use
software for collaborative  non-experts for creating vocabularies. I
do remember lots of papers :)

However, that was before WebProtege, Neologism and more are developed
and best practices around vocabulary practices seems to have evolved.

I was wondering if there was any online videos or courses that you all
could recommend, or if an expert would like to join the Social
Interest Group for a teleconference-based tutorial.
